Is SafeHer free to use?
SafeHer offers a free basic plan with essential safety features. For full access to all features including AI calls, evidence gathering, and priority support, SafeHer Extra is available for €9,99/month or €59,99/year (6 months free).
How does the AI video call work?
SafeHer generates a realistic video call with an AI avatar. The person near you sees and hears a real conversation on your screen, giving you a believable reason to leave any situation.
Does SafeHer work without internet?
Yes. Core features like the panic alert and SMS-based emergency contact notifications work even without an internet connection. SafeHer uses SMS fallback to ensure your safety contacts are always reachable. If a connection can't be established, your location and recordings are stored securely on your device until connectivity is restored — then everything is automatically sent back to our database.
Is my data private and secure?
Absolutely. SafeHer uses end-to-end encryption for all your data. Your location, recordings, and personal information are never shared with third parties. Evidence files are stored securely and only accessible by you.
How does Walk With Me work?
Tell SafeHer your destination and it tracks your route in real time. If you stop moving, deviate from your path, or don't arrive when expected, your trusted contacts are automatically alerted with your live location.
Can I use SafeHer in my country?
SafeHer is available in over 50 countries worldwide. The app works anywhere with a mobile connection, and our safety map features are continuously expanding to new regions.
What happens when I trigger an alert?
When you activate the panic alert, SafeHer instantly sends your live GPS location to all your emergency contacts via SMS and push notification. It also begins silently recording audio and video as evidence, and starts building an incident report automatically.
Can my emergency contacts see my location at all times?
No. Your contacts only receive your location when you actively share it — during a Walk With Me session, a Date Escape timer, or when you trigger an alert. You are always in control of when your location is shared.
Is the SafeHer app available now?
SafeHer is in private beta on iOS and Android while we finish the store launch. You can create a free web account today — it carries over to the app at launch. For early access, request an invite via the contact form on the homepage.
How is SafeHer different from a normal panic-button app?
Panic buttons only help once a situation is already an emergency. SafeHer focuses on the moments before that: a believable AI companion call, video call, or chat thread changes how a situation feels to everyone around you — and if things do escalate, one tap alerts your trusted contacts with your live location while SafeHer records evidence silently.
Does SafeHer call the police automatically?
No. SafeHer never auto-dials emergency services. It detects your local emergency number (112, 999, 911 and others) and pre-fills the call so you can dial instantly — you always stay in control.
What does Premium include?
Texting your AI companion is free for everyone. Premium adds AI voice and video calls and custom companions — see the pricing section on the homepage for current plans.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete recordings, incidents, and your entire account at any time, and deletion requests are honoured in line with GDPR.
What languages does SafeHer support?
The app and website are in English today; more languages are planned as we roll out across Europe.
